2.燒結材料:高技術陶瓷、金屬陶瓷及金屬粉末冶金材料的燒結機理、工藝過程及其套用研究;
3.能源與環境材料:
(1)等離子化學:高性能介電功能陶瓷,等離子方法分解CO2,NOx等有害氣體;
(2)光化學:光催化及紫外線吸收材料的合成、性能表征及其套用研究。

在國內外重要學術刊物上發表學術論文60餘篇,其中SCI收錄論文近50篇,EI收錄30餘篇,申請發明專利5件。其研究成果於1998年和1995年分別獲得中國科學院重要科技成果各一項(分別排名第一和第二位)。
