首次實現了炔烴與CO2的氫羧化反應;發展了兩個高效的喹啉類配體,並由Sigma-Aldrich公司將之商品化,命名為Li-Quinoline和Li-Yu t-Butyl Quinoline;將碘基化學發展到一個全新的維度,實現了三維連線。在國際著名刊物上發表學術論文25篇,其中第一作者10篇,包括1篇Science (共同第一作者),1篇J. Am. Chem. Soc., 3篇Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,他引數已超過700次。
