主要從事蛋白質組生物信息學研究,致力於從生物醫學大數據中進行知識的發現。承擔國家精準醫學、國家國際科技合作專項和國家自然科學基金等各類項目9項,首次整合多生物學證據進行高通量蛋白質相互作用數據的可靠性分析;建立國際上首個基於蛋白質網路預測信號通路的生物信息算法系統;首次揭示蛋白質相互作用網路拓撲上的“保守直徑”現象和為進化上的“蛋白質成簇添加”現象提供模體層次的證據; 建立大規模組學數據可視化和分析軟體平台,為國內外提供數據分析服務25000多次;對最大規模組織層次蛋白質網路——肝臟蛋白質相互作用網路進行研究。在Nature Communications, Molecular&Cellular Proteomics, Molecular Systems Biology和J Proteome Res等期刊發表第一/通訊作者(含並列)署名SCI論文19篇,累計影響因子110,發表其他署名SCI論文20篇,獲國家科技進步創新團隊獎等國家和省部級獎勵5次,獲軟體著作權28項。
