曾擔任動力工程多相流國家重點實驗室黨支部副書記。1996-1999年在瑞典皇家理工學院能源技術學院(Department of Energy Technology, Royal Institute of Technology(KTH))做博士後研究。目前正承擔國家自然科學基金項目(批准號:50106011)、國家教委留學回國人員基金項目(批准號:1999-747)和中國科學院國家微重力實驗室開放基金等項目各一項;同時參加國家自然科學基金重大項目、西安交通大學“行動計畫”建設項目以及其它機構資助的科研協作課題多項。已完成和發表學術論文四十餘篇。
