男,中共黨員,博士,華中農業大學園藝林學學院教授,博士生導師。國家優秀青年科學基金獲得者,圍繞果樹栽培生理與品質調控方向開展研究,綜合採用電生理學、植物生理學、生物化學、分子生物學等手段,解析膜轉運載體在果實品質改良中的重要功能、發掘果樹抗逆境脅迫應答功能基因。研究成果以第一作者/通訊作者發表在Molecular Plant、Plant Cell、Plant Physiology、Plant Journal、Plant Biotechnology Journal等國際主流學術期刊,被F1000 Prime推薦1次;受邀擔任《Fruit Research》Associate Editor,擔任《genes》Guest Editor,擔任《Plant Physiology》、《Horticulture Research》、《Tree Physiology》等十餘個SCI期刊審稿人。
