從事鹿茸生物學研究30餘年,共發表學術論文80餘篇(SCI收錄50餘篇),參加相關的國際會議30餘場,撰寫專著4本;曾獲得1990年中國科學技術協會頒發的“中國青年科技獎”,2002年吉林省“科學技術進步二等獎”(第一名),2002年中國農業科學院“科學技術進步二等獎”(第一名),2003年World Research Promotion Council 頒發的“傑出科學家獎”,2005年“國家科學技術進步二等獎”(第三名);事業上的成就得到了國際同行們的廣泛認可,應邀在第一屆(2000年,加拿大Banff)、第二屆(2004年,紐西蘭Queenstown)和第三屆(2011年,中國長春)國際鹿茸科學及產品技術大會,以及第六屆(2006年,捷克Prague),第七屆(2010年,智利Huilo)國際鹿生物學大會上做全會報告。並已被邀請將在第八屆國際鹿生物學大會上做全會報告(2014年,哈爾濱)。
