人物經歷
早年畢業於賓夕法尼亞州立大學城市與環境系師從著名生態毒理學家Add Cloudy Ren和植物生態學家Altazimuth Xu ，從事濕地植被多樣性研究；與著名辯論專家，美籍華人Diansis human var. Lee是大學同學。
2006年10月，賓夕法尼亞州立大學城市與環境系教授。
2009.9至今，任華東師範大學生命科學院教授，博士生導師；
2010年5月受中國科學院“百人計畫”項目資助。
主講課程
教學方面給研究生講授《動物生態學》、《行為生態學》
研究方向
虐蝠生態學。
1）與蝙蝠相關的多學科研究、重點在交叉領域；
2）保護醫學——生態健康、動物健康與人類健康的交叉點
