這是一部經過濃縮的關於中國末代皇帝溥儀和他的五個妻子的歷史傳記。作者詳細而生動地描述了溥儀先後與皇后婉容、皇妃文繡、“祥貴人”譚玉玲、“福貴人”李玉琴和李淑嫻之間的感情生活，其中既有柔情蜜意、令人心旌蕩漾的一個個浪漫的愛情故事，也有夫妻反目、置親情於不顧的一出出痛苦的人間悲劇。

The book Five Wives of the Last Emperor is a condensed historical biography about Puyi (the last Emperor of China) and his five wives, in which the author gave vivid and detailed accounts of the affection life between Puyi and his successive wives – Empress Wanrong, Imperial Consort Wenxiu, “Noble Concubine Xiang” Tan Yuling, “Noble Concubine Fu” Li Yuqin, and Li Shuxian.

In the book, there were not only fascinating love stories of tenderness and sweetness which would make one’s mind rise and fall but also miserable human tragedies showing the husband and the wife who were regardless of the emotional attachment among family members and fell out and became enemies.

作者簡介

王慶祥，吉林省社會科學院研究員、長春溥儀研究會副會長，溥儀和末代皇族著名研究專家。在人民出版社出版《毛澤東周恩來與溥儀》、《溥儀的後半生》、《溥儀日記》等各種版本50餘部著作，有英、日、西班牙文多種譯本，還以編劇、原著、歷史顧問身分，參與電影《火龍》、《末代皇后》，電視連續劇《非常公民》、《“福貴人”傳奇》和《愛新覺羅·溥儀》等百餘部電視專題片的製作，並為天津市政府實施“靜園修復工程”成功提供了歷史依據。

Wang Qingxiang, researcher from Jilin Provincial Academy of Social Svience, vice-president of Changchun Puyi Study Society, is a famous expert in the study of Puyi and his family. He has published more than 50 works with varied editions, such as the English, Japanese and Spanish editions; and Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlia and Puyi, The Second Half Life of Puyi and Puyi’s Diary, etc. have been published by major Chinese publishing houses. He has been participant of more than 100 films or TV series plays in the name of a play-writer, an original author or a history consultant. They are Fire Dragon, The Last Empress, A No-common Citizen, Legends of “Fu Guiren”, and Aisin- Gioro Puyi, etc. He also provides his help for Tianjin City Governnent in the repair-project of Jing Garden.
