1984年本科畢業於四川農學院,1987年碩士研究生畢業於四川農業大學。1996年10月至2001年3月在日本國立廣島大學留學,獲博士學位。

1. 轉基因技術: 利用CRISPR/Cas9 技術編輯基因;建立和完善利用精原幹細胞製作轉基因動物的新技術。
2. 動物生殖細胞工程: 主要研究精原幹細胞的增殖與分化的表觀調控機理。
重點研究非編碼RNA(microRNA,piRNA,long-noncoding RNA等)對精原幹細胞的增殖與分化的影響及其作用機理;研究DNA甲基化及組蛋白甲基化表觀修飾調節精原幹細胞增殖與分化的分子機理。
3. 精液保存:主要研究在體外過程中豬精子受到傷害的機理,最佳化和完善精子保存配方,建立豬精子保存的新技術。
