曹鵬,北京生命科學研究所研究員,博士生導師。博士後期間師從諾貝爾獎得主Thomas Südhof 博士,研究神經元囊泡轉運的分子機制。2012年起擔任中科院生物物理所研究員,2016年起擔任北京生命科學研究所研究員,探索腦功能和腦疾病的神經環路機制。2014年獲得國家優秀青年科學基金,2018年入選科技部中青年科技創新領軍人才,2019年獲得國家傑出青年科學基金。研究成果發表於《科學》、《細胞》、《自然.神經科學》和《神經元》等著名學術刊物。
