《新常態大學通用英語教程 讀寫教程（第1冊）》共10個單元，著重提高學生學生的英語語言能力。《新常態大學通用英語教程 讀寫教程（第1冊）》作者先後在空軍氣象學院、應天學院、中國傳媒大學南廣學院任教。歷任教員、教研室主任、黨支部書記。1997年因教學成績突出，榮立三等功。主要講授《大學英語》、《研究生英語》等課程。2000年—2005年間，先後主持了英格索蘭（美國）、加成（加拿大）、采埃孚（德國）等大型企業的高層英語培訓工作。具有豐富的圖書出版經驗，已出版圖書30餘種，對於國內外的高等教育十分了解，管理經驗豐富，創新能力強。2011年7月6日，被任命為中國傳媒大學南廣學院國際傳播學院院長。
