Vunkiatt Kataddepan文杰‧格達德班
文杰‧格達德班出生在台東南王的音樂世家,是「卑南族音樂之父」—陸森寶先生的 長孫。陸森寶先生在年輕時展現他優異的音樂才華,並創作無數的卑南族傳統樂曲,至今仍被族人所傳唱,而文杰‧格達德班承襲自祖父的天賦,不僅擔任Am樂團 的貝斯手,也大量創作詞曲,收錄在「AM到天亮」專輯中的「漂流之愛」就是國語與卑南語的完美結合,因為文杰‧格達德班永遠記得祖父說過,就算離開家鄉也 不要忘記自己的部落,不要忘了自己就是卑南族的孩子,不要忘了繼續傳唱卑南族的歌,因此在一路走來的傳唱生涯中,也鍛鍊了自己堅定的意志與賦予歌謠的新生命。
Vunkiatt Kataddepan
Born into a music family of Taitung, Vunkiatt is the grandson of the “Father of Puyuma Music”—Lu Sen-bao. In his early years, Lu Sen-bao showed his remarkable musical talent by creating numerous traditional songs of Puyuma tribe, which are still sung by the members of the tribe.
Vunkiatt has inherited the talent of his grandfather. He is not only bass player of a band called “A-minor” but has also written a large number of songs. A great example of is work, which shows a beautiful combination of Mandarin and Puyuma dialect, is the song “Flowing Love” recorded on the album ”Am until the sunrise”.
