2001年本科畢業於西安交通大學;2004年研究生畢業於西安交通大學,獲得材料科學與工程碩士學位;2008年在清華大學材料系獲材料物理與化學專業工學博士學位。 目前主要研究領域為先進鋁合金材料研究與開發,重點為鋁合金材料顯微結構設計和表征,現主持承擔各類研究項目多項,其中包括國家自然科學基金項目、北京市自然科學基金、北京市教委科技計畫面上項目,參與國家基礎研究計畫(973)和高技術發展研究計畫(863)等重大項目多項。

迄今為止,發表SCI檢錄學術論文30餘篇,其中多篇發表在Acta Mater.、Scripta Mater.、Mater.Sci.Eng.A.等國際權威學術刊物,申請國家專利5項。
