《教育哲學》內容簡介：要建立這樣一個新型的現代國民教育體系，是一個長期而艱巨的任務，不可能一蹴而就。因此，我們既應該有遠大的理想，也應該有腳踏實地的精神；既要有歷史的責任感，也應該有實事求是的科學態度。就當前我們的工作來說，各級各類的教育行政和科研部門，都要大興調查研究之風，到教育實踐第一線去，真正搞清楚我國國民教育體系的現狀，分析哪些方面是有優勢的，哪些方面已經與經濟社會發展和廣大人民民眾的要求不相一致，因而是需要花費時間、精力和財力去改革的，還有哪些方面是原有的國民教育體系中根本沒有，以至於需要我們充分地發揮教育創新精神研究部署的。到教育實踐第一線去，也有助於我們切實和廣泛地了解廣大的教育實際工作者一些富有創造性的工作，收集和整理他們結合實際情況進行教育教學改革的經驗，從而為我們的教育決策和科學研究提供大量翔實可靠的第一手材料。
