天津大學地球系統科學學院教授。入選國家“四青人才”、天津大學“英才教授”榮譽體系、天津市“科技諮詢專家”;獲德國質譜學會 (DGMS) 頒發的傑出青年科學家獎 (Mattauch-Herzog-Förderpreis),是該獎項設立三十多年來首個獲獎的亞洲人。

研究領域
地表有機質的動態變化、歸趨、以及其控制過程,關聯著表層地球系統中的物質運輸和能量傳遞,是生物地球化學循環的重要環節,也是探討區域環境變化以及生態系統平衡的重要基礎。有機質的特徵可以用來反演地區的環境生態變化過程以及人為活動的影響。傅立葉離子迴旋共振質譜 (FT-ICR MS) 具有高通量、高解析度、高測量精確度等諸多優點,為生命科學、藥物分析、環境檢測、材料科學等領域提供了強大的技術支持。近年來,該技術開始被套用到地球科學領域中,在分子層面上,為表征自然界的複雜有機質樣品奠定了基礎,也為巨觀與微觀世界的連線搭建了橋樑。戚羽霖從事 FT-ICR MS 對有機物質進行結構表征、定量分析、以及生物地球化學循環等跨學科、多尺度的研究,涉及環境、能源、生物、臨床、以及數據處理等不同領域。截止至2020年,以第一或通訊作者發表SCI文章29篇 (h-index為19)。
