研究方向:電子和離子與原子散射的離化過程
按照現代物質結構觀點,原子分子是構成各種具體物質的基元,物質的巨觀特性最終由這些基元的微觀性質決定,而後者又主要由核外電子,主要是價電子的運動規律所支配。在原子層次上的各學科中研究電子運動規律不但非常重要,而且也正好抓住了這些不同學科的基本特點。眾所周知,物質中的電子運動規律由量子力學描述,按照量子力學的基本原理描述電子運動規律的兩個最基本量是能級和波函式。電子和離子與原子散射的離化過程是同時得到電子的能級和波函式信息的重要手段。諾貝爾獎獲得者Fukui和Hotfmanu的研究工作表明,分子層次上的相互作用動力學與原子分子的電子態結構有著直接的關係,物質的電子結構可以決定材?的物理、化學、光學和電學性質。電子動量譜和反應動力學有著十分廣泛的套用前景。電子和離子與原子散射的離化過程很有希望成為研究新一代物質結構的主要方法,它在研究原子和分子結構以及納米尺度的光、電、磁性質時顯示出獨特的優點。自從20世紀60年代,國外已開始了實驗和理論研究,其成果已滲透到多個學科,在國內這一研究也已取得重要進展,在理論研究方面已與世界接軌,並用約10年時間就趕上了國外已走過的40餘年的發展步伐。預計不久的將來在理論研究和實際測量兩方面都會有廣泛的套用。
