1992年7月至1999年8月於陝西省農業科學院土壤肥料研究所工作,1999年9月至今於西北農林科技大學資源環境學院工作。
1999-2005年期間多次前往瑞典農業大學學習和工作;還曾在英國洛桑研究所、澳大利亞南澳研究與發展研究所進行合作與交流。
講授課程
講授本科生“土壤與植物營養”;博士研究生“植物營養研究進展”部分內容、“土壤學研究進展”部分內容。
研究方向
研究工作主要集中在兩個方面:(1)旱地作物養分、水分高效利用;(2)土壤管理對土壤質量的影響。

(1)黃土高原地膜覆蓋冬小麥利用播前底墒的過程及調控機制,國家自然科學基金,2017-2020,主持人;
(2)褐土區氮磷淋溶的阻控機制與措施研究子課題:小麥-玉米輪作區氮磷淋溶的阻控機制與措施研究,科技部國家重點研發計畫,2016-2020,主持人;
(3)長期施肥黃土肥力演化與肥料效益回響,科技部野外台站基礎性長期研究,2006- ,參加人;
(4)旱地秸稈覆蓋冬小麥收穫指數降低的機理,國家自然科學基金,2012-2015,主持人;
(5)西北旱作與節水農業最佳養分管理技術模式與示範,公益性行業專項,2011-2015,參加人;
(6)西北農林科技大學青年骨幹支持計畫,2007-2010,主持人;
(7)國家科技支撐計畫項目-西北旱作黃綿土區沃土技術模式研究與示範子課題,2006-2010,主持人。
