1996年6月被遴選為碩士研究生導師;1999年3月畢業於南京大學化學系獲博士學位;1999年10月晉升為教授;2003年9月青島科技大學遴選為博士生導師;2005年以來,作為項目負責人承擔課題10餘項;擔任山東省高校腫瘤標誌物感測分析重點實驗室主任、《Frontiers in Analytical Chemistry》副主編,《分析化學》、《套用化學》編委;其團隊在腫瘤標誌物檢測與成像分析方法、單細胞單分子分析等方面開展了系列研究工作;2012年8月擔任山東省首席專家。
