個人經歷
作為一個電影導演，他導演了包括1986的《恐怖小商店》，1991的喜劇《鮑勃呢？》和《又髒又臭的惡棍》。他也是在星球大戰系列電影的木偶尤達的配音。現年71歲。
個人生活
Oz是出世在英格蘭的赫里福郡，弗朗西絲的兒子。他的父母搬到英國後，納粹的戰鬥與荷蘭旅。父親是猶太人，他的母親是個離經叛道的天主教徒。Oz在他五歲時和父母搬到了美國加利福尼亞的奧克蘭。他曾就讀於奧克蘭高等技術學校、奧克蘭城市學院。蕾蒂康奈爾是他的導師。
