廣州市動力與儲能電池材料與器件產業技術創新平台依託華南師範大學，聯合廣州能源檢測研究院、中國科學院廣州能源研究所、廣州大學、廣州市二輕研究所股份有限公司等研究機構，開展動力與儲能電池材料與器件的技術開發、技術諮詢、人才培養等研究與服務工作，為企業提供行業技術創新支撐，推動廣州市“新能源”和“新能源汽車”產業的發展。

廣州市動力與儲能電池材料與器件產業技術創新平台於2015年4月由廣州市科學與信息局批准建設，2018年12月通過驗收。
