常鳳鳴, 男，1973年出生，研究員。1995年畢業於中國地質大學（武漢）地球科學學院，2004年畢業於中國科學院海洋研究所海洋地質專業，獲博士學位。2013年3月-2014年4月作為公派訪問學者在美國加州大學洛杉磯分校（UCLA）地球、行星與空間科學系留學訪問1年，與Aradhna Tripati教授進行海洋碳酸鹽Clump isotope合作交流。承擔國家自然科學基金項目4項以及中國科學院戰略性先導科技專項、國家海洋局“全球變化與海氣相互作用” 研究任務和國際合項目等多項課題。發表學術論文30餘篇，合作出版專著1部。獲國家海洋局海洋創新成果一等獎、二等獎各一次，2008 年獲首屆中國科學院瀋陽分院優秀青年學者獎。
研究方向
主要從事海洋微體古生物與古海洋、古環境方面的研究工作。研究方向集中於低緯度西太平洋各關鍵區域三維空間內的古海洋學再造，追溯熱帶西太平洋各海洋氣候要素（暖池、主流系、季風、ENSO、ITCZ等）的多尺度演變歷史；近千年來高解析度的古海洋古氣候記錄，探述百年至年代際尺度上的氣候波動過程與重大事件。
