人物經歷
2005年12月德國馬普氣象研究所氣象學博士畢業。2006年1月進入英國利物浦大學地理系進行博士後研究， 2008年進入英國愛丁堡大學擔任地學院環境變化和可持續發展中心研究員。2009年10月任北京師範大學全球變化與地球系統科學研究院研究員，2010年任博士生導師，從事氣候變化與氣候影響的交叉學科方面的研究工作，尤其關注社會經濟的人文視角。 2010年教育部新世紀人才入選者，目前擔任IPCC第五次評估報告主要作者和IPBES國際計畫的草案起草者之一。
研究方向
開發土地利用變化系統模型，從全球角度研究中國巨觀土地利用變化。
城市化引起的地表覆蓋變化對局地氣候的數值模擬。
土地利用變化對區域水資源及環境生態的影響評價。
區域氣候與空氣品質相互作用的模擬研究。
全球與區域糧食安全研究。
