項目摘要

在富勒烯碳籠的空腔內嵌入金屬原子或原子團簇得到富勒烯金屬包合物(EMFs)。作為富勒烯家族的重要分支,富勒烯金屬包合物表現出許多獨特的性能,如超導性、磁性和非線性光學性質等。但由於溶解度的問題,常用的溶劑萃取方法提取包合物的效率低,且只能得到常見的C82、C80等碳籠的少數包合物,包括C60和C70等的包合物迄今未能有效獲得,阻礙了對其結構和性質的系統研究。針對這一問題,本項目擬採用化學衍生化進行籠外修飾的方法從煙炱中直接提取包合物,以提高包合物的萃取效率,並得到具有窄帶隙的新物種,如Ih-C60和不滿足獨立五元環規則(non-IPR)碳籠的包合物物種。此外,嵌入部分填滿f電子的稀土金屬,如釓和鏑等,包合物能表現出順磁性,通過與金屬卟啉等平面大π共軛體系進行分子組裝,設計成具有夾心結構的納米分子磁體;填充於單壁碳納米管中形成納米豆莢,在此基礎上研究其磁學性質。
