研究興趣
運用二階非線性光譜技術(和頻與倍頻)研究表/界面結構以及對在表/界面發生的物理化學反應的機理和動力學的研究。和頻(sum frequency generation)的產生是一種二階非線性光學過程,在偶極近似下,由躍遷選擇定則的要求,該過程的發生只能存在於不對稱的環境中,所以對於中心反演對稱的體系(比如體相水),不能貢獻和頻信號。然而,由於表面其對稱性本徵的破缺,因此和頻光譜具有表面/界面靈敏性。通常,我們用兩束脈衝雷射(ω1,ω2)同時照射到樣品表面,使兩束雷射時間空間上重合,測量其和頻(ω3=ω1+ω2)信號。其中一束入射光可以與表面分子的振動頻率發生共振,因此調節入射光頻率得到的和頻光譜承載著表面分子的信息。通過分析和頻光譜我們可以獲得表面相關的分子極性取向、分子構象、平均傾角等。結合飛秒脈衝雷射,時間分辨的和頻光譜可以幫助我們理解表面物理化學反應的動力學過程。
