夏效東，男，1981年8月出生，博士，教授，博士生導師。美國食品技術協會會員及美國微生物學會會員，現任職於西北農林科技大學食品與工程學院。

1998.9-2002.7月本科就讀於合肥工業大學食品科學與工程專業。
2002.9-2005.7月碩士就讀於中山大學營養與食品衛生專業。
2006.8-2010.5月博士就讀於馬里蘭大學食品科學專業。
2010.9月起任職於西北農林科技大學食品與工程學院 。
研究方向
食源性致病微生物;天然活性物質的營養及抗菌功能。
開設課程
承擔“食品安全風險分析與管理”“研究生專業外語”等課程。
