這一具有開創性的首發單曲《Up In The Air》在地球上空230英里開始了它的使命。美國宇航局將30 SECONDS TO MARS\30秒上火星樂隊新專輯《LOVE LUST FAITH+ DREAMS》的第一單曲《Up In The Air》發射進入了太空。同時30 SECONDS TO MARS還將在休斯敦任務控制中心進行實時監測，並將與空間站的一名太空人Tom Marshburn於歌迷進行問答環節，歌迷還可將在網路上看到這一實況。
