Iman Stratenus was born in 1970 in Deventer,the Netherlands.He studied law in the Netherlands (University of Utrecht) and in the USA (University of Pennsylvania).After working as a corporate lawyer with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek,he joined the consulting firm Mcginsey & Company,in the Amsterdam office.In 2003 he joined TNT,where he initially worked as a strategy and M&A advisor to the Board of Management.Iman became the Country General Manager for TNT Vietnam in 2005.He moved to China in 2007,initially as Marketing & Sales Director and,as of 2008,as Managing Director (Greater) China.In 2011,Iman left TNT.After a year as General Manager of international SOS in Beijing,Iman decided to devote his professional life to making the world a better place.He joined the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.Iman lives in Lausanne,Switzerland,with his wife,O.uirine,and their four children,Julie,Coco,genine,and Hugo.
