本書是在2001年7月出版的《國際商務英語教程》第二版的基礎上經過修訂後的第三版。在當今我國進一步擴大對外開放的形勢下,為了適應廣大讀者學習國際商務英語的需要,本書 內容在第二版的基礎上又作了一些更新和充實。首先,在這次修訂過程中,我們共更換了六篇課文。新增添的課文除了有關國際商務的方式、國際商務迅速增長的原因以及外匯的使用和交易等問題外,還涉及改革開放以來中國擴大出口貿易、吸收外商投資和發展對外投資等這些重大問題。選用有關中國情況的課文,能夠具體反映我國在擴大對外貿易、吸收外商投資 和發展對外投資這些方面是怎樣開展和貫徹的,使讀者能更好地理解國際商務的理論和原則怎樣與我國的實踐相結合。其次,第三版在習題方面作了較大的更新和充實。每課課文後面的習題,特別是漢譯英和英譯漢的成段翻譯練習,有較大的更動。全書四個複習性綜合練習的更動更大。在每個綜合練習中,除了填充形式的語法性習題以外,還有大量漢譯英單句和成段翻譯習題以及閱讀練習,而且習題量有較大的增加。
