周鳴飛,男,物理化學家,1968年9月30日生,浙江省磐安人(原屬東陽市)。1990年畢業於復旦大學物理二系套用化學專業,1995年獲得復旦大學物理化學專業博士學位。2002年晉升復旦大學化學系教授,博士生導師,教育部長江學者獎勵計畫特聘教授。
主要從事化學反應動力學、分子光譜等研究工作。國際上首次報導了硼-硼三鍵,國際上首次實驗證實了元素+IV價態以及鑭系金屬+V價態的存在。關於元素+IV價態工作在《自然》(Nature)雜誌發表後被美國化學學會《化學與工程新聞》(Chem. & Eng. News)雜誌評選為2014年度國際十大化學研究。
周鳴飛曾獲霍英東青年教師獎, 寶鋼優秀教師獎,國家傑出青年基金(2001年),教育部長江學者獎勵計畫特聘教授(2002年),上海市青年科技英才獎(2004),教育部提名國家科學技術獎自然科學二等獎(2004年),上海市自然科學一等獎(2007年),新世紀百千萬人才工程(2009年)等,國家自然科學二等獎(2018)榮譽。周鳴飛曾擔任美國化學會《物理化學》(Journal of Physical Chemistry)和《物理化學學報》(Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica )等刊物的編委,現為《中國化學》(Chinese Journal of Chemistry),《化學學報》(Chinese Journal of Chemical Physics)等刊物編委。
