主要研究領域為蛋白質相互作用的分子機制、多肽分子工程及多肽藥物發現研究
主要研究興趣為作用細胞膜離子通道藥用蠍活性多肽的基礎與套用基礎研究。毒蠍在地球上生存進化了4億多年,在我國具有2000多年的藥用史。蠍的主要藥用成份為蠍尾毒液中數量眾多且結構功能多樣的蠍活性多肽(又稱為“蠍毒素”或“蠍毒素多肽”),這些多肽通過選擇性地作用動物和人細胞膜不同種類膜離子通道蛋白及其它受體蛋白,從而具有抗病毒、抗菌、抗類風濕性關節炎、治療多發性硬化症等藥理功能。通過系統深入研究蠍活性肽的結構功能關係及其與靶標蛋白質的作用機制,建立了蠍活性肽與靶標蛋白相互作用的“人工控制識別”新分子工程技術,篩選設計與鑑定具有抗病毒、抗耐藥菌、抗類風濕性關節炎功能等重要藥用前景的蠍活性肽,推進我國特有蠍活性多肽的生物醫藥套用。
