吳立新,1966年9月出生於安徽桐城,十三屆全國人大常委會委員,中國科學院院士,青島海洋科學與技術試點國家實驗室主任,中國海洋大學教授、博士生導師、副校長,青島市政協副主席。
1994年8月參加工作,2013年12月加入民盟,現任第十三屆全國人民代表大會常務委員會委員,青島海洋科學與技術試點國家實驗室主任委員會主任,中國海洋大學副校長,青島市政協副主席,民盟山東省委副主委,民盟青島市委主委。
