南索托語（英語：Southern Sotho / 南索托語：seSotho）是班圖語系的語言之一，全世界大約有500萬人說南索托語，主要分布在南非、賴索托、波札那、納米比亞、尚比亞等地區。在南非，南索托語是11種官方語言之一。

南索托語的發展
該語言的第一套拼寫系統是由Thomas Arbousset,、Eugene Casalis 、Constant Gosselin這三位法國傳教士發明的，他們於1833年來到賴索托。1841年，第一本南索托語的語法書正式出版。
