2001年7月畢業於中國科學院上海矽酸鹽研究所，獲得材料科學與工程專業博士學位，隨後留在本所高性能陶瓷與超微結構國家重點實驗室從事碳納米管功能化及其相關複合材料製備科學及套用探索研究。作為項目負責人主持國家自然科學基金“碳納米管增強的氮化物敏化染料敏化太陽能電池”、中國科學院上海矽酸鹽研究所所創新“新型無機－有機雜化反滲透膜研究”及高性能陶瓷與超微結構國家重點實驗室基金等項目。作為研究骨幹承擔了國家科技支撐計畫重點項目、國際合作重大項目、國家自然科學基金以及多項上海市納米專項基金的研究工作。
榮獲2005年上海市科學技術進步一等獎。在The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Carbon, Nanotechnology等國際著名學術期刊發表SCI論文40餘篇（其中第一作者25篇），被他人引用600餘次；申請中國發明專利10項，其中6項已授權，申請日本發明專利兩項；合作出版《納米粉體的分散及表面改性》一書，2003年12月由化學工業出版社出版，並在台灣發行繁體字版。

(1) 碳納米管的功能化及相關複合材料；
(2) 納米薄膜太陽能電池關鍵材料；
(3) 高效分離膜材料。
