1994年在武漢大學生命科學學院病毒學系獲理學學士學位；
2002年在武漢大學生命科學學院微生物學專業獲理學碩士；
2005年6月在武漢大學生命科學學院微生物學專業獲理學博士。
主要工作經歷
1994年7月至1999年9月，武漢大學生命科學學院，助教，院學生黨支部書記、院團委副書記等；2005年7月至2007年10月，武漢大學基礎醫學院免疫學系，講師；2007年3月至2008年12月，新加坡國立大學醫學院及Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory，博士後；2007年11月至2011年10月，武漢大學基礎醫學院免疫學系，副教授；2014年2月至2015年2月在美國Texas A&M University做訪問學者；2012年11月至今，武漢大學基礎醫學院免疫學系，教授，博士生導師。
社會兼職
中華醫學會微生物與免疫學分會青年委員會委員（2012年當選）、武漢市免疫學會第六屆理事會理事（2010年當選）、中國免疫學學會會員、中國細胞生物學學會會員、中國微生物學學會會員。曾受邀擔任FEBS Journal , Nanoscale, Viruses, Neuroscience Letters、Transboundary and Emerging Diseases, British Microbiology Research Journal, African Journal of Microbiology Research、Journal of Pain Research等10多種國際期刊雜誌審稿專家以及國家自然科學基金評審專家。
目前主要科學研究領域和興趣
1、研究人泡沫病毒（human foamy virus, HFV）的感染及其作用機制，以及HFV載體的構建及其在神經系統疾病中的套用。
2、研究腸道病毒71型（Human enterovirus 71, EV71）和柯薩奇病毒A16型（Coxsachievirus A16, CA16）等病毒的感染及其致病機制，特別是其導致手足口病患兒腦部神經系統疾病的作用機理；同時致力於EV71/ CA16病毒新型疫苗和免疫診斷的研發。
教學情況
主要承擔醫學各專業五年制/七年制/八年制/留學生的《醫學免疫學》、醫學碩士研究生的《分子醫學免疫學》、醫學博士研究生的《醫學免疫學前沿進展》等；指導多名本科生獲得國家級/校級大學生科研創新課題、省級/校級自然科學獎及發表多篇SCI/中文核心等論文；發表多篇教學論文並承擔/參與多項國家級/校級教學項目。
