現主持承擔各類研究項目17項，其中包括主持國家自然科學基金“抑制粘土副作用型聚羧酸減水劑的製備與分子結構設計”(批准號：51208012)、教育部博士點學科專項科研基金“高功效星形聚羧酸減水劑的設計合成及結構性能調控”(批准號：3C009011201301)、中鐵四局合作項目“混凝土高性能外加劑製備技術”(批准號：40009011201309)，還以骨幹身份參與國家863項目、國家科技支撐攻關項目、北京市科委項目、北京市教委項目等。
主要貢獻
主要從事有機高分子材料的合成、改性，以及有機/無機複合材料的製備與性能研究，研究領域包括：(1)高性能聚合物的分子結構設計合成；(2)化學外加劑的流變學、吸附行為及界面化學；(3)高性能混凝土的製備與套用；(4)彈性體材料的改性與增強等。目前為《Journal of Industrial Textiles》、《Composites Part A》等國際SCI期刊的審稿人。
獲獎記錄
迄今為止，發表學術論文80餘篇，申請美國發明專利1項，國家發明專利20項，其中已授權17項，參編著作2部，開發軟體1項，曾獲得2012年度中國建築材料流通協會科學技術獎一等獎，2012年度中國建築材料聯合會·中國矽酸鹽學會建築材料科學技術獎二等獎。
