劉星，陝西師範大學美術學院副院長，1982年考入陝西師範大學數學系，1986年畢業。1993年，考入西安美術學院國畫系研究生班，1996年畢業並獲碩士學位。2001年，考入南京藝術學院，2004年畢業並獲博士學位。現為陝西師範大學美術學院國畫系副教授，碩士研究生導師，太原師範學院兼職教授，陝西省美術博物館學術委員會委員，陝西電視台《中國書畫名家》欄目學術主持，陝西省青聯委員。西安市青年美術家協會副主席。
