劉星成，男，博士，中山大學電子與信息工程學院教授，博士生導師。IEEE高級會員，中國計算機學會物聯網專委會委員，中國通信學會高級會員。主要從事無線感測器網路/物聯網、網路編碼及協作通信、信道編碼技術、無線移動通信新技術等方面研究。近年來主持完成了多個國家自然科學基金項目和省市級科研項目，發表學術論文150多篇，合編英文專著1本、教材2本，獲國家發明專利20多項，申請專利5項。是國家科技獎、國家自然科學基金項目和多個省市科技項目的評審專家。

先後獲得華中科技大學學士和碩士學位、中山大學博士學位。
先後赴英國Southampton大學和美國Oregon州立大學做博士後和訪問學者。
授課課程
研究生課程：現代數位訊號處理，信息與編碼技術。
本科生課程：通信原理，數字通信系統，無線通信原理，通信工程導論，無線感測器網路。
研究方向
物聯網/無線感測器網路，糾錯編碼理論及套用，智慧型算法及套用。
