主持國家自然科學基金2項，江西省教育廳科學研究項目1項，參與包括 “十一五”國家密碼基金，“十一五”國家863計畫，總參預研基金項目，“十二五”國家密碼基金，國家自然科學基金，江西省自然科學基金在內的多項國家級、省部級課題。在混沌保密通信領域共發表高水平學術論文30餘篇，其中SCI收錄20餘篇。參與“十二五”國家重點出版物出版規劃項目專著《混沌保密通信學》的編著，獲“2013年度國家科學技術學術著作出版基金”資助。擔任《Computer Physics Communications》、《IEEE Transaction on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology》、《Entropy》、《ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA》、《LIFE SCIENCE JOURNAL》、《COMPEL》、IET系列期刊等高水平SCI期刊評審人。
