本書通過問卷調查和訪談的形式分析了海外交換經歷對大學生個人綜合發展的影響,主要結果如下:(1)學生出國交換的目的和期望眾多;(2)通過交換,學生們的學業和語言收穫頗豐,提高了跨文化交際能力,增強了中國人的身份意識,提高了獨立生活的能力和在不同文化中生活的能力。同時他們也發現要真正融入當地文化和生活中仍存在一定難度。
