運用有機岩石學和13C-核磁共振光譜首次證實Borden含水砂有機質是以不同形式乾酪根顯微組分組成,表明乾酪根、碳黑、不同分子量腐殖酸等聚合有機質在非線性吸附-解吸和解吸滯後中有重要作用,而泥炭中的腐殖質和乾酪根是導致非線性吸附的原因,以及泥炭有機質的微孔性(nm微孔)在疏水有機污染物吸附容量和解吸滯後現象的重要性。這些研究成果,不僅在科學上深化了對天然有機質本身及其與有機污染物相互作用機制的認識,而且表明地質吸附劑有機質的非均勻性在有機污染物的吸附/解吸和歸宿等環境行為方面的重要性。較系統地研究了珠江三角洲水/沉積物中內分泌干擾物和珠江三角洲土壤中多種有機污染物的污染狀況和環境歸宿行為。進一步揭示了乾酪根和碳黑等聚合有機質在土壤/沉積物中有機污染物的分布、遷移和歸宿的重要作用。
