研究領域
綜合生物信息學、基因組學和生物統計學方法,長期從事基因組拷貝數變異(CNV)的鑑別、其結構功能、對重要疾病或性狀發生機制方面的研究;並從事家養動物重要經濟性狀的基因組學研究。現研究方向主要包括:1. 基因組拷貝數變異的發現及其功能的研究,並將其與腫瘤學相結合:CNV是除SNP以外的另外一類遺傳變異來源,由於其包含的基因組序列較多,因此較容易引起基因結構及基因表達變化。研究表明部分基因組CNV與重要經濟性狀的表型變異、重要疾病(如憂鬱症,精神分裂症,特發性學習障礙,嚴重的早發性肥胖症等)及腫瘤(神經母細胞瘤,乳腺癌,肺腺癌等)有顯著關聯。2. 家養動物複雜性狀的基因組分析: 運用基因組學和群體遺傳學,發掘影響家養動物重要經濟性狀的機制,闡述動物在進化過程中的演化過程。
