學術成果

光學專業研究學術領域基礎紮實,底蘊深厚,發表了近260餘篇中英文專業學術論文。其研究內容涉及光學信息處理,光學計算,光學設計,液晶顯示與液晶投影顯示,數字圖像處理以及數字圖像感測器,智慧型化光學儀器等。
在LCOS晶片的研究方面創造了世界多個第一,提出了LCOS設計理論的參數空間法(Parameter Space)並付諸Himax( NASDAQ)實施產業化。Google Glass的核心部件LCOS即出自他與HKUST的共同研究成果。
在穿透式視頻眼鏡研發方面,為全球某著名穿透式視頻眼鏡公司打造了多款原型機樣品並進入小試樣階段。試製成功的產品已經成功配置在某些核心產品上。
在波前編碼領域,經過多年努力,建造性地建立了波前編碼的大視場理論,解決了大視情況下的點擴散函式扭曲效應,在此基礎上成功開發了光圈數低達2,景深為普通鏡頭近10倍的長焦鏡頭,有望在監控領域得到廣泛套用。
極力打造研發平台。精通全球四大品牌(Zeiss, Leica, Nikon,Olympus)顯微鏡光學系統、中國國內大品牌顯微鏡光學系統。在光學鏡頭的設計,光學儀器的智慧型化領域頗有建樹,設計並產業化了多款不同倍率的數碼顯微光學匹配鏡頭,光學性能達到衍射極限!
在光學低倍率顯微變倍物鏡領域,設計了多款連續變倍鏡頭,均實現了不同倍率下良好的齊焦性能以及解析度達到衍射極限的光學品質。
在光學高倍顯微變倍物鏡領域,設計了2~20倍,4~40倍高倍連續變倍顯微物鏡。這些設計有望在數碼變倍顯微領域得到廣泛套用,為微觀世界探索盡了綿薄之力。
在近半年的時間裡,設計了近50餘款智慧型家居監控鏡頭,運動相機鏡頭,汽車監控鏡頭。最近更是在VR領域實現了突破性的進展,設計了多款視場達到210度的全景鏡頭並成功產業化。其中最暢銷的一款鏡頭月產量突破20萬顆。
