余金傑，男，1966年3月生，中國地質科學院礦產資源研究所研究員，博士生導師。
長期從事金屬礦成礦作用研究，先後參與或承擔了二十多項國家、省部級項目或橫向項目的科研與找礦工作，在金屬礦床成礦理論和找礦預測等方面取得了豐碩的研究成果，共發表學術論文91餘篇，其中第1作者學術論文41篇（國際SCI收錄論文5篇，國內SCI收錄論文4篇，EI收錄論文1篇，中文核心期刊論文24篇），專著5部（合著）。

1986年7月，在武漢地質學院獲礦床學專業碩士學位；
1991年7月，在中國地質大學（北京）獲礦床學專業碩士學位；
2001年7月，在中國地質科學院研究生部獲理學博士學位；
1997年12月，晉升為副研究員；
2002年12月，晉升為研究員。
在研項目
（1）地質大調查二級項目“準噶爾成礦帶淺覆蓋區銅多金屬地質礦產調查” （2016-2018年，1500萬元），第二負責人；
（2）國家自然科學基金面上項目“鐵氧化物礦床與銅金礦床之間的關係--以寧蕪盆地中玢岩鐵礦和銅金礦為例”（2014-2017年，80萬元），負責人；
（3）科技部科技基礎性工作專項課題“全國重要金屬礦產圖研究和編制”（2014-2018年，106萬元），課題副負責人。
