本年報內容共分七章，*章為概述；第二章是方法與指標；第三章是數據質量評價；第四、五章為全國合計以及主要癌症的發病與死亡分析結果；第六章是新增的生存分析結果；第七章是附錄。2014年全國腫瘤登記中心收到全國234個腫瘤登記處上報的2011年腫瘤登記數據，通過對數據質量的綜合審核，有177個腫瘤登記處的數據入選本報告以反映2011年我國腫瘤登記覆蓋地區癌症的發病與死亡水平，包括77個城市地區和100個農村地區。
本書可為從事腫瘤預防與控制的研究人員提供科學的基礎性資料，亦可為腫瘤臨床工作者提供參考。

作者簡介
赫捷簡介
中科院院士，中國國家癌症中心副主任，中國醫科院腫瘤醫院胸外科實驗室主任、院長，主任醫師，北京協和醫學院教授、博士生導師，國務院政府特殊津貼獲得者。白求恩醫科大學醫學學士，中國協和醫科大學醫學博士，美國俄亥俄醫學院、印地安那大學博士後。曾獲得2013年度國家科學技術進步獎一等獎、高等學校科學研究優秀成果獎一等獎、中華醫學科技獎一等獎、北京市科學技術獎一等獎、全國優秀科技工作者、北京市師德標兵、北京協和醫學院教學名師獎、衛生部有突出貢獻中青年專家、教育部"優秀留學歸國人員"等榮譽稱號。2013年6月獲"全國師德楷模"榮譽稱號。2013年6月獲得"全國師德楷模"榮譽稱號。
