丘錫生

江蘇無錫人。1958年獲台灣大學電氣工程學士，1961年獲美國厄巴納伊利諾斯大學博士。美國伊利諾斯州埃文斯頓西北大學電工與計算機科學系主任、教授。1981年獲美國計算機學會RICHAROE．MERWIN獎，專長軟體工程、分散式系統和網路(在該領域擁有專利)。

丘錫生，江蘇無錫人。1958年獲台灣大學電氣工程學士，1961年獲美國厄巴納伊利諾斯大學博士。美國伊利諾斯州埃文斯頓西北大學電工與計算機科學系主任、教授。1958年赴美國，1968年人美籍。1959—1961年任尼巴納伊利諾斯大學電氣工程實驗室研究助理，1961年起任教於伊利諾斯州埃文斯頓西北大學，歷任電氣工程助理教授、副教授、教授、計算機科學教授、計算機科學系主任、電子工程與計算機科學系主任、曾任芝加哥計算機大會主席(1967年)，芝加哥全國計算機大會主席(1974年)，第一次國際計算機軟體和套用大會主席(1977年)，美國全國電氣產品公司會議理事(1965—1968年)，系美國電氣電子工程師學會特別委員(1967一1976年)；美國科學促進協會，富蘭克林研究會特別會員；計算機學會主席(1976--1977年)，美國聯邦信息處理學會會長及授獎委員會主席(1972—1982年)、學會副主席(1982年後)；SigmaXi榮譽學會會員。l963年獲富蘭克林研究會LOUIS IEVY獎，1964年獲美國成就學會金牌獎，1981年獲美國計算機學會RICHAROE．MERWIN獎，專長軟體工程、分散式系統和網路(在該領域擁有專利)。
