特性描述

shell involute, subglobolar or thickly discoidal. venter rounded; lateral side slightly convex. surface marked with weak constrictions and fine longitudinal lirae in internal volutions and strong transverse ribs in external volution. siphuncle in central position but near the dorsum. external suture subammonitic with a long and furcate ventral lobe and a pair of broader lateral lobes, the outer side of umbilical lobe splitting up to form auxiliary series, its inner side entrire; internal suture goniatitic.。
