丁玉強，男， 1967年1月出生於河南省方城縣；1987年7月畢業於鄭州大學化學系，研究方向，1）金屬有機化合物的合成與均相催化；，2）光電功能材料；，3）有機合成；

人物經歷

1993年8月被分配到南陽理工學院工作；1993年9月至1996年7月在華中理工大學化學系套用化學專業讀研究生，獲工學碩士；1996年8月至1998年8月回南陽理工學院工作；1998年9月至12月在德國哥廷根大學（Georg-August-University Goettingen）化學系完成碩士學位等價認證考試；1999年1月至2002年6月在哥廷根大學化學系攻讀博士，獲自然科學博士學位（Dr. rer.nat.）；同年7月至12月在該大學從事博士後研究工作；2003年1月至2004年3月在德國馬普煤炭研究所（Max-Planck Institute of Coal Research）從事博士後研究；同年4月到江南大學化學與材料工程學院工作，被聘為校聘教授，2005年被評為教授，2006年被評為博士生導師。2006年入選教育部“新世紀優秀人才”；2007年入選江蘇省“333高層次人才培養工程”首批中青年科學技術帶頭人； 2007年至今任化學與材料工程學院副院長。
