丁熊，男，中共黨員，博士（後），副教授，碩士生導師，AAPG會員，SEG會員，中國地質協會會員，2011年畢業於西南石油大學礦產普查與勘探專業並獲得工學博士學位，並於同年留校任教。現主要從事儲層地質學、沉積學、數學地質等方面的教學和研究工作，現為《Marine and Petroleum Geology》、《Petroleum Science》、《Carbonates and Evaporates》、《中國礦業大學學報（自然科學版）》、《西南石油大學學報（自然科學版）》等國內外學術期刊審稿人。
