2011年二月底樂隊發行了第三張專輯Stand Up and Fight。下半年貝斯手Hannes Horma和風琴手Netta Skog皆因個人原因離團，取而代之加入的是前Ensiferum貝斯手Jukka-Pekka Miettinen和鍵盤手Robert Engstrand。2012年2月，Turisas成為年度芬蘭金屬音樂獎最大贏家，獲年度最佳樂隊、最佳專輯、最佳主唱和最佳專輯封面獎。
實在沒有聽過這樣的金屬音樂。最接近的種類是維京金屬，但這只是占他們音樂中的一部分，除了維京亦可找到一點異教色彩，大量的管樂與弦樂編排更接近交響黑金屬，另外也加入了小提琴、笛子、手風琴和敲擊樂，再多一份歐陸風情，更加進合唱團和女聲，聽起來就是將民謠/維京團的一切結合。的確，在樂隊的嗚謝名單中可以找到現在芬蘭最著的數支同類樂團的名字：Finntroll、Ensiferum、Moonsorrow和Korpikilaani，更毫不怯於承認受他們影響之深，但Turisas的音樂卻又和這些樂團的相差甚遠。瀏覽一下有關Turisas或"Battle Metal"的評論，差不多沒有人不會用"Finntroll Meets Bal-Sagoth"來形容，這也相當的貼切，因為他們的音樂雖然沒有明顯的黑金味，卻具有那一份黑暗的感覺，那史詩式的氣勢亦和Bal-Sagoth相似，但整體會更接近奧地利的Hollenthon，他們的第二張"With Vilest Of Worms To Dwell"同樣是以龐大交響樂與銅管攻擊營造出史詩戰場故事的氛圍，在金屬樂、敘述戰爭的歌詞與編曲方面的確很相像，但Turisas沒那么富侵略性而更具處身戰場衝鋒陷陣的意境，還有借用了民謠金屬團的玩味，除了民族舞曲的節奏，某些歌曲更有些較另類的東西像電子或爵士樂，更難得是一切都組合得順暢自然而非硬為加插特別元素而作，玩得隨意甚至瘋狂，但比很多滑稽化了的民謠團更顯認真。樂團甚至參考古籍，以有關十七世紀芬蘭戰事的詩辭與名作入詞"Prologue For R.R.R."和“Rex Regi Rebellis"兩曲。
於1999/ 2001年所製作的Demo、EP立即掀起了樂迷的一陣討論風潮，再搭上團員現場演奏時總是穿著古戰士裝且將臉上塗成紅黑條紋的熱血裝扮，令人有種回到中古世紀般的時空交錯，使得該團人氣直線上升勢不可擋！ 2004年透過Century Media發行首張經典專輯「Battle Metal」，開出亮麗的紅盤！三年後再接再厲推出續作「The Varangian Way」，更是奠定了Turisas在歐陸金屬版圖中的一席之地！闊別四年，在眾多樂迷的高度期待下，甫出全新大作「Stand Up And Fight」，再度開啟征戰之途，企圖為Turisas寫下嶄新的光榮戰記！
序曲"The March of the Varangian Guard"為整張專輯殺出氣勢凌人、誰與爭鋒的激情開場，猶如百萬大軍跋涉的浩蕩壯闊場面；接著"Take the Day! "透過Warlord豪邁的清腔與兇殘死腔之間的拿捏得宜，塑造出擁有情感且史詩的戰曲佳肴；專輯同名曲"Stand Up and Fight"譜出猶如身在戰場般的激戰態勢，副歌會不由自主的高歌狂唱！值得回味；而"End of an Empire"大量運用交響聲勢在長七分多鐘的曲目里每秒都顯得十分悅耳動聽！睽違四年發輯的Turisas，又再度向樂迷展示行雲流水般的高度創作能量、氣勢仍舊引領人們走向高亢又不失情感的完美編曲，悅耳動聽！趕緊加入Turisas的陣營，邁開徵途的步伐，光榮凱旋而歸！
