創作背景
《Good Time》寫於2011年年初夏季之前，歌曲的創作過程則是在美國明尼蘇達完成的。亞當·揚表示，自己因為想要寫一首每一個人都能夠邊走邊唱的歌曲，於是就創作出這首作品。而亞當·揚與卡莉·蕾·傑普森合作，則是因為他在製作專輯《The Midsummer Station》的時候，就一直打算邀請一位女歌手合作，恰好在那段時間他聽到了卡莉·蕾·傑普森的作品。之後，亞當·揚主動聯繫她並在郵件上說，自己希望能夠邀請到她一起合作。此外，在創作歌曲的過程中，亞當·揚負責編寫歌詞，馬修·蒂森和布萊恩·李則協助編制簡譜。
